This is not a real certification.
A TexasCertified.Me certificate is a novelty product created strictly for entertainment, decoration, and a good laugh. It is not a credential, certification, license, permit, title of nobility, or any form of academic or professional qualification. It confers no rights, privileges, admissions, memberships, or employment. It will not get you into college. It will not get you out of a ticket.
Not affiliated with anything official.
TexasCertified.Me is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the State of Texas, any agency, board, commission, school, university, or political subdivision thereof — or of any other state, country, republic, or republic-in-exile. “Texas,” the Lone Star, and the shape of the state are used here affectionately and satirically, not officially.
Don't do anything dumb with it.
You agree not to present, display, or represent a TexasCertified.Me certificate as a genuine academic or professional credential to any employer, school, government agency, court, lender, or dating profile. Fraud, misrepresentation, and forgery remain your responsibility, not ours. We made a funny piece of paper; what you do with it is on you.
Content & accuracy.
The “Texan Test,” the signatories, and all other copy on a certificate are fictional and humorous. Any resemblance to real persons, living or barbecued, is coincidental and intended only as affection. Texas trivia answers are believed correct but are offered with the same confidence a Texan offers a weather forecast.
Your certificate & data.
Your name and certificate record are stored so the certificate can be verified publicly via its serial number and QR code — that's the whole point. We don't sell your data, and we don't build a face-recognizing Texan database. We're not that sophisticated.
In short.
This is a gag. A lovely, framable, official-looking gag. Post it, print it, hang it on the wall, gift it to a Texan, have a laugh — and please, for all our sakes, do not try to get a job with it.
